Alyson Hannigan was born in Washington D.C. in April of 1974. As a little child, Alyson enjoyed being in front of the camera, her parents were two photographers. Alyson was an early model for her parents when they held backyard sessions. Years later, Alyson switched her career of being a model to doing commercials for such companies as Six Flags: Great America, Oreo's and McDonalds. Little did Alyson know, her career was just getting started from their. At age 11, Alyson's family moved to California to help Alyson with her rising career. Alyson's first big break in California came with the movie My Step Mother's an Alien starring Dan Aykroyd and Kim Basinger. Insidently, the boyfriend was played by Seth Green, the same actor who portray's Alyson's boyfriend in Buffy: The Vampire Slayer Alyson was 14 years old. Alyson later went to have starring roles, or minor roles in Telivison such as Free Spirit, Touched by an Angel, Almost Home (also known as The Torkelsons and Roseanne. Just because Alyson was an actress didn't mean she didn't attend school like the rest of us. Alyson went to Highschool in California and was " Very Depressed " because she didn't like the people and wanted to get on with her life. Little did Alyson know, she about to go on to do bigger things. In The 1994-1995 Season, Alyson was cast as Willow Rosenberg.Buffy's shy, wallflower, computer genius, friend on The W.B. a small syndicated network that was just getting it's feet sunk into the cable. Alyson was seen by millions of viewers every week and has had a following ever since. Because of Alyson's exposure on Buffy, she has landed rolls in the movies Dead man on Campus (Which is out in theatres) and Great Falls (Which is coming out next year). And Alyson, even with her busy schedule, take's time out to check out her fan sites on the internet, play with her dogs and cats, and kickbox (ouch!). Alyson also makes the rounds to sci-fi conventions, charity events, and other things that she belives will help her " do good things ". |
